I have insomnia and i really can’t fall asleep at all i’ve tried since 11pm until now. I’ve tossed and turned many times and i don’t know the real reason why i can’t fall asleep. I think it could be because of my insomnia but I’m not sure. It’s like 2:15 am in the morning on the east coast right now and i can’t fall asleep and i feel sleep deprived. What could i do so i could fall asleep ? I feel so crappy right now because i can’t fall asleep.
I’m the same way some nights, mostly every night. I feel tired watching t.v or playing on the computer, and i go to bed and poof im practically wide awake. I lie there wide awake for 2-3 hours some nights. What happens with me is i think about something, and it seems like i can never stop. I know this seems more like a life story but the most i could suggest is talk to your doctor, or any doctor. He or she may be able to give you something to help you fall asleep. Try to avoid over the counter sleep aids, unless recommended by the doctor, as I know a couple people who’ve become addicted to them.
One thing that sometimes works for me is to read a very boring book, for example a thick instruction manual. Maybe that will make you more tired and you can sleep.
