I didn’t care for it. I love a lot of nolan’s other films, but this one dragged imo. it was supposed to be building up the internal torture of the main character. however, the movie just felt like you were being dragged through the blues against your will. plus, robin williams as a bad guy didn’t work for me. I give him an A for effort, but ultimately this is not one I’d recommend. 4/10
but, scarjokes is right. it was acclaimed at the time. watch it for yourself.
any review ive read about the movie has been great, but i got bored after 20mins…maybe i gave up too soon though. It does have a good cast.
Mixed reviews? No, the movie was VERY acclaimed, it was made back when Nolan wasn’t known, so it wasn’t as popular, but it was a huge hit among critics. It’s a very good film, it’s serves up twist after twist and the perfomances were great. It’s a very good film, definately a Nolan film.
