Is insomnia something worth going to the doctor over?

I think i’m an insomniac. I can’t fall asleep until 4 am each night. I always get super anxious at night. Is this something worth going to the doctor over? Do i have insomnia?

How do doctors treat insomnia?

I’m going to the doctor for it later on, and I want to know how they can treat insomnia, or if they even can.
I forgot to mention that I’m a teen, in case the treatment is different than an adult.

I have insomnia and my husband is having a fit I don't sleep next to him.?

I refuse to lie awake in the dark and go crazy when I can be online,watch tv or read a book.I am going to the doctor soon to be treated for this.What can I do in the meantime to make him understand?
